WORSHIP
AT THE CITY OF PRAISE
1. ABOUT WHEN
WE STAND AND SING
It is good to stand and worship our Lord and Savior, for the word of God
says:
"Then some Levites STOOD UP to Praise the Lord God
of Israel with a loud voice." (11 Chronicles 20:19)
"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that
no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language.
STANDING before the throne and in front of the Lamb."
(Revelation 7:9-10)
2. ABOUT WHEN WE
LIFT UP OUR HANDS
We show joy by lifting up our hands in the presence of the Lord. Jesus
said, "Where two or three come together in My name, there am I with
them. (Matthew 18:20)
LIFT UP YOUR HANDS in the sanctuary and bless the Lord."
(Psalms 134:2)
"I will therefore that men pray everywhere, LIFTING UP HOLY HANDS,
without wrath and doubting." (Timothy 2:8)
3. ABOUT WHEN WE
CLAP OUR HANDS
It is good and worthy to clap our hands, for He is worthy of praise. "O
CLAP YOUR HANDS" all you nations; shout to cries of joy.
(Psalm 47:1)
