MISSION OUTREACH UPDATE &
CHURCH EXPENDITURES
(As of September 20, 2006)

The City of Praise has already put out in excess of $181,638.00 in the last 5 years for church and direct mission programs. We just want to remind you that the City of Praise is a Missionary Church. We want to give you a feeling of Godly Trust, by disclosing the following:

  1. We do not have a Pastor on payroll. Our present Pastor works on a voluntary bases.
  2. All guest speakers are paid from $75.00 to $100.00 (I Cor. 9:14)
  3. The City of Praise is also a Music Ministry and an international Food Outreach Church.
    A great amount of money (even though most of it paid through outside church donations) was spent on instrumentation, electronics, recording equipment, etc. Total investment approximately $45,000.00 (We hope and pray it will one day glorify the body of Christ in a big way).
  4. $7,200.00 was spent on a sophisticated overhead projector, computer, laser disk, video, DVD Karaoke system and many other inputs we may require. The funds were the churches funds (special donations) through you.
    Mission of sponsorship - service - and helps.
  5. The church sponsored a large family (of 6) from Indonesia to USA at a total cost within a two-year period of $67,000.00, where of $15,000.00 cash plus $7,000.00 automobile van came as a donation to this cause, from outside the church. Today this family is secured, and have acquired their own ministry. God bless them; for the Lord knows what He is doing.
  6. The C.O.P. has helped in the building of Gladstone Mumbai Christian Centre church in India, now glorifying our Lord with over 200 congregations. We spend approximately $1,000.00 and an additional $800.00 given to missionary Mrs. Gladstone.
  7. The C.O.P. has distributed on two occasions Rice for the Poor, through the Marinata Church in Surabaya, Indonesia. Hundreds were helped with two kilograms of rice each. Total expenditure $550.00
  8. The C.O.P. has helped with the setting up of a Christian Elementary School - SD Kristen Filadelfia, Pontianak in the jungles of Kalimantan, Indonesia, $260.00 was given.

  9. The C.O.P. also has used its credit card for projects mentioned above, starting of with a $21,000.00 debt, now reduced to "zero."
  10. Sending off two young people of the City of Praise to Canada. $1,250.00

  13. Christian Aid Mission (Homeless Children) - Charlottesville, VA $250.00

  15. The Allan Nuys Foundation Food for the Hungry. $250.00 (Nov. 2002)
  16. Gifts to local Missionary. $225.00 (Aug. 2003)
  17. The church bought 80 chairs at a cost of $2,000.00 including the transportation. (Aug. 2003)
  18. Sending off a young person of the City of Praise to Northern California. $250.00 (Aug. 2003)

  32. Car repair for missionary James from India $220.- (January 28, 2006)
  33. Gift to Habini, Inc. at Annual meeting $1,000.- (February 26, 2006)
  34. Scholarship for (6) Kalimantan High School girls $2,600.- (April 20, 2006)
  35. Donation to the Orphanage Kalimantan $700.- (May 14, 2006)
  36. Donation to the Orphanage Kalimantan $12,000.- (June 12, 2006)
  37. Donation to the Orphanage Kalimantan $3,000.- (June 14, 2006)
  38. Donation to the Orphanage Kalimantan $5,000.- (August 21, 2006)

Today you see in part as through a reflection mirror, but at the proper time you will see in whole. Therefore put your heart where your treasure is in the Body of Christ.
